What’s your favorite kind of music?
I’ve always found that question a little tricky to answer. Personally, I don’t have a strict preference. Whether it’s oldies or something brand new, pop, rap, or rock—I’ll give anything a chance. If it sounds good and makes me tap my foot or hum along, I’m in!
Now, I will admit—it took me a while to warm up to rap music. At first, it just felt too loud and chaotic. I could barely catch what was being said, and I wasn’t used to the fast rhythm or hard beats. But over time, I started listening a bit closer, and that’s when I realized how clever, emotional, and even poetic it can be. Some of those lyrics hit deep, and once I got used to the pace, I couldn’t help but appreciate the talent it takes to rap well.
