What a total nightmare scenario.
I know it’s easy to place blame in a situation like this, but I just want to say how nervous I was watching this play out but also that I’m thankful for the good Samaritans of the world like the ones who stopped to help. As the little one ran out into the street, a truck driver and bus driver blew their horns and came to a halt. The child sat down right in the middle of the road, and a man on a motorbike pulled over to retrieve the baby and prevent any tragedy from happening. What a hero!
“I was driving when suddenly discovered a baby running in the middle of the road, I sounded the horn to signal others to stop. Fortunately, the baby is okay,” said the truck driver who recorded the video.
Obviously, as a mother you can never let up for even one moment when you live close to a busy road like this. And I’m sure she’ll never let it happen again. This is a scary enough moment to strike fear deep into your heart and mind and make you learn from any mistakes you may have made. Fortunately, luck was on their side this time and no one was hurt! I’m still shaking…
