This video at the bottom of the page of classic TV commercials from the 60s and 70s will really hit home for you if you grew up during the time period. I just loved watching these back in the day… Such blasts from the past!

Frito Bandito

""

The Frito Bandito! I don’t know about you, but Fritos corn chips are still a staple in my house. Such a great snack, but I’d forgotten all about this early commercial of theirs, in all honesty. What a trip down memory lane!

Hawaiian Punch

""

Who doesn’t love Hawaiian Punch? This and Kool-Aid were favorites of mine growing up, and the commercials were fun and colorful!

Tootsie Pop

""

How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know thanks to one overzealous owl. “One, a-two, three… Crunch!” 😛

Cap’n Crunch

""

All the kids loved having breakfast with the Captain in the mornings! Cap’n Crunch and Crunch Berries cereal… Yum! “You can’t get away with the Crunch, because the Crunch always gives you away!”

McDonald’s Big Mac

""

We didn’t like to eat fast food too often, but when we did, a Big Mac from McDonald’s always hit the spot! “Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.”

Chrysler Cordoba

""

Anyone remember the Chrysler Cordoba? Marketed as a luxury vehicle, this particular commercial was very classy. This makes me want to put on my Sunday best and go for a drive!

Lite-Brite

""

Lite-Brite was such a neat toy! This allowed kids to dig deep and get as creative as they wanted to make bright, colorful images by punching the little plastic colored bulbs through the black paper that was laid across the backlit grid.

Green Giant

""

If Mom and Dad couldn’t get you to eat your vegetables, the Green Giant could! Green beans and corn just tasted better from “The valley of the Jolly”!

Almond Joy

""

“Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don’t.” This Mounds Almond Joy jingle certainly takes me back… And now I’ll be singing this in my head for the rest of the day!
